1. What do I need to become an affiliate?
Nothing! Except your desire to be an affiliate.

You don't even need a website (although having your own website helps). You can promote our product via search engines, postings in internet forums, or simply email to all your friends and people you know with your affiliate link to our site.

All you need to do is to send a visitor to our site via a special link (called an 'affiliate link'), and if he or she buys anything from us within 30 days, you will get 35% of the sale value. Even if he signs up as an active member, you will still get paid if he changes to passive membership later. More than 50% of our paying members are recruited this way.

2. How do I know I will be paid for my referral?
The program is devised by Exxelan Resources, who also developed all other functionality on this site. Exxelan Resources is an independant ad-hoc workgroup at the MCI institute of SDU. Supervising professors vouch for integrity and reliability.

Exxelan Resources uses cookies to track referrals for the best possible reliability. When the visitor follows your affiliate link to our site, our affiliate system registers this referral, places a cookie on his or her computer, and makes a record on both ours and Exxelan's servers. When the visitor registers his membership, the affiliate system checks for this cookie and credits your account 35% of the purchase value. Payouts are cross-referenced and revised by Exxelan Resources on a quarterly basis.

This process is absolutely automatic. All your referrals will be properly tracked.

3. Why do you not use IP tracking?
Because it does not work. IP tracking is basically designed only to put affiliates at ease. We use IP tracking for other purposes, but users will be recorded at several different IP addresses, and one IP address can be shared by multiple users. IP tracking is useless in affiliate programs. It is also entirely unnecessary.

4. How is the payment handled?
You can choose if you want to be paid by PayPal or by Moneybookers. The minimum payout value is $100. Payments are issued in US dollars, and are paid once a month at your request.

5. How do I set up an account?
Setting up an account is very easy and it's completely FREE. You don't have to pay anything to become an affiliate.

All you need to do is use our sign up form by going to the Signup Form and fill it out. You will immediately receive an email with a link to activate your account.

As our affiliate, you will be able to see detailed statistics of traffic, new leads, and sales you referred.

Then you only need to place an affiliate link, feed ad, image ad, or other link at your web site or place ads in pay-per-click search engines, e-mails, newsletters, forums, so you can start sending customers to our web site.

6. What is the affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special URL where you will be sending your visitors to. You will get the URL's for different banners in your affiliate panel after log in. You can use any landing page, as long as you follow this pattern: http://tipstraders.com/?afid=your_user_name

7. Can I promote you through pay-per-click search engines?

A few ways to make money with our affiliate program

1. Write a review of our site, letting people know how good it is. Include your affiliate link at the end of the review. Post your review to free sites such as GoArticles.com & EzineArticles.com.
   
2. Create a free blog (web log) at sites such as Blogger.com, and post your review of the TipsTraders.com, including your affiliate link. Then "ping" your blog at a site such as Pingomatic.com, so it gets picked up quickly by search engines.
   
3. Join popular forums such as Yahoo Finance and make frequent contributions to popular threads there. Be sure to go into your forum profile and edit your "signature". Make a signature that includes your affiliate link, or a link to your review. That way, every time you make a post, anyone who sees it will see your signature and potentially click on your affiliate link.
   
4. Once every few weeks post a press release at PRweb.com, in which you include your favorable review of TipsTraders.com, along with your affiliate link. If you pay them $80, they will guarantee that your press release is picked up by all major search engines, potentially sending you thousands of visitors.
   
5. If you own an email list of newsletter subscribers or other people who have opted in to receive email offers from you, send them an email telling them about our website, and feel free to use some text from our homepage in your email. Include your affiliate link at the end of the email.
